1. Booking finality
Guest tee-time reservations completed on TeeTime through M-Pesa or another designated payment method are final and binding once payment is confirmed. Except where these rules say otherwise, green fees and platform booking fees are non-refundable.
2. Caddie fees
Green fees paid on TeeTime cover course access only. They do not include caddie fees, caddie tips, or equipment rental unless the listing says the price is a bundled package.
- Host clubs in Kenya generally require non-member guests to take an official club caddie for a 9-hole or 18-hole round.
- The caddie fee is set by the host club. Pay it in cash, or by M-Pesa directly to the assigned caddie, when the round is finished.
- TeeTime is not responsible for disputes, non-payment, or rate differences between players, caddies, and the host club.
3. Cancellations and rescheduling
- If you cancel or ask to move a tee time at least 24 hours before the confirmed time, you receive a platform credit equal to the net green fee you paid. The credit lasts 30 days from the day it is issued and can be used toward any available guest slot on TeeTime. Player cancellations are not refunded in cash or to M-Pesa.
- Cancellations inside 24 hours of tee-off are non-refundable and cannot be transferred. The booking amount is kept to cover the slot the club held for you.
4. Late arrival
- Every player must check in at the host club starter at least 15 minutes before the scheduled tee-off.
- If you or your group miss that tee-off, the original slot is forfeited. The starter may place you in a later open slot the same day at no extra charge, if the course has room.
- The booking holder may change player names in a confirmed group at the starter before tee-off, at no extra cost.
5. Weather and course closure
A weather credit is issued only when the host club officially closes the course. Cancelling because you expect bad weather, while the course stays open, does not qualify for a credit or a refund.
If the host club declares an official closure, you automatically receive a platform credit equal to the green fee you paid. That credit lasts 60 days and can be used toward any available slot on TeeTime. Weather closures are not refunded to M-Pesa or in cash.
6. Double-bookings
If you arrive for a confirmed booking and the host club turns you away because the slot was double-booked:
- TeeTime will arrange a full refund of the transaction to your M-Pesa account, funded by reversing the club’s inventory.
- TeeTime will also issue a complimentary KES 500 booking voucher for the inconvenience.
7. Risk and liability
TeeTime is a reservation and payment service that connects guest golfers with host clubs. TeeTime does not own, manage, maintain, or operate any golf course, clubhouse, or sporting facility.
Golf is played outdoors. By completing a booking you accept the risks of being on a golf course, including being struck by a ball, lightning and other weather, slips and falls, golf-cart accidents, wildlife, and loss of or damage to your belongings or equipment.
To the extent Kenyan law allows, TeeTime and its directors, developers, and agents are not liable for personal injury, death, medical costs, or property damage suffered by you or your guests at a host club. Safety rules, course etiquette, and liability claims are governed by that club’s own regulations and insurance.
These rules sit alongside our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. Questions can be sent to info@teetime.co.ke.
